Cutfarmer started as our own tool. We run clip channels — comedy, interviews, self-improvement — and got tired of the choice between hours in a timeline and clip services that upload your footage to someone else's cloud and frame the wrong person half the time.
One universal pipeline, running entirely on your own Mac, that treats clipping the way a broadcast editor would: understand the whole episode first, then decide what stands alone, then frame whoever is actually talking, then finish the job — captions, title, upload — without a handoff to four other tools.
Every clip we publish runs through the same build we ship. When framing misses on a dark stage or a title flops on the feed, that's not a support ticket — it's our own channel underperforming, and it gets fixed in the next build. The changelog is the receipts.
Your footage never leaves your machine. No cloud render farm, no account system, no servers to trust.
Every automatic decision is logged, inspectable, and overridable. The system earns trust by showing its work.
Clips open on real hooks and end when the payoff ends. No arbitrary duration chopping, no mid-sentence cuts.
What you keep, reject, and what audiences actually watch feeds back into what gets found and posted next.
