Cutfarmer — macOS app for turning long-form video into vertical shorts

Cutfarmer runs entirely on your own Mac. It ingests a long video, finds the strongest moments, reframes them to 9:16 around whoever is speaking, burns captions, and publishes the finished clips to social accounts you connect — currently TikTok and YouTube.

Connected accounts

How do I connect TikTok or YouTube?

In the app, open the Publish page and choose the platform. You sign in on the platform's own login screen — Cutfarmer never sees your password.

What can Cutfarmer do with my account?

Upload a clip you selected, with a caption you reviewed, at a privacy setting you chose. It also reads your basic profile so you can confirm which account you're posting to, and the view counts of posts it published for you. It cannot read your private data, message anyone, follow accounts, or post without you choosing the clip.

How do I disconnect?

Revoke Cutfarmer in the platform's own settings — TikTok: Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions. YouTube/Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps. Access stops immediately. You can also delete the local configuration file on your Mac, which removes the stored tokens entirely.

Where are my tokens stored?

In a configuration file on your own computer. Cutfarmer has no servers and no account system, so there is nowhere else for them to be.

Requirements

macOS on Apple Silicon. Video processing, transcription and rendering all run locally — no cloud upload, and no footage leaves your machine except the finished clips you choose to publish.
